From Kotobukiya, the ARTIST SUPPORT ITEM HAND MODEL series welcomes the long-awaited MEN'S/R model, designed under the supervision of Takahiro Kagami and sculpted by Tsukuru Shirahige. This 1/1 scale action figure meticulously recreates a masculine hand with realistic articulation and size comparable to an actual human hand, showcasing a well-built bone structure and musculature. Its new articulation system allows for an expanded range of poses, including "flexed" and "gripped" positions, surpassing previous models that focused primarily on the back of the hand. A key innovation is the "pocket-like feature" on the palm, which, when the fingertips are placed within it, accurately reproduces the muscle shifts and tension experienced when gripping, enabling the creation of powerful, clenched hand poses. The wrist mount includes a built-in turning mechanism with distinct clicks, facilitating precise posing even when attached to the base. By combining this masculine model with previous elegant models, artists can recreate complex scenes like couples holding hands, enhancing manga, anime, and illustration work with diverse and accurate hand expressions.
